Abandonment to desire. Pleasure mixed with anxiety. Blended success and pleasure coming to its end. The seeds of decay in the fruit of pleasure. I look at it like a bowl of beautiful and ripe fruit. It can't just sit there being beautiful forever. It will start to spoil soon. Something has to be done with the fruit; eat it, bake it into a pie, give it away... I will interpret this card according to the influence of today's Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse at 15* Capricorn.
Full Moon eclipses bring up issues of endings connected to women, home, family (Moon) and business/finance (Capricorn). You will make some strong decisions based on your emotions on what relationships, places and work must end in order to get to a better place. The 8 of cups suggests that if you no longer receive the emotional satisfaction from a person or situation and it can't be fixed, then it's time to move on.
